BIO

The Torn were formed in 2005 by four like minded musicians from the rural backwaters of Lincolnshire. Their distinctive brand of indie-rock has travelled to many venues nation wide, courtesy of an ex-Police riot van. Coming from a small village out in the sticks, the band have had to adopt a d.i.y attitude by not only writing but also recording, producing and managing themselves. Their first gig was a Battle of the Bands competition which they went on to win, and since then have supported bands such as The Bluetones, as well as headlining gigs to audiences from 12 to 12,000. Whatever the size, the band inject the same energy and passion into every performance, and love every second of it.
